Academy Awards for CEDAR's DNS process

In February 2005, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honoured CEDAR Audio's engineers with Sci-Tech Academy Awards (Technical Oscars) for services to the movie industry. Already a studio standard for eliminating background noises such as traffic and air conditioning, the original DNS, the DNS1000, had already won SSAIRA and PAR Awards in 2000 and 2001. Thousands of DNS1000s, DNS1500s, DNS2000s and DNS3000s are still in use today in post houses, broadcast studios and many other audio environments.
